Challenges & tasks. The most important challenge was streamlining the existing workflow and harmonizing vendors' data in the WheelerShip website without rebuilding the entire infrastructure. This is crucial to accommodate the addition of new vendors, ensure a unified display of product information, and facilitate future expansion while minimizing complexity and maintaining website performance.
What our client received:
Smooth Communication between Systems: By implementing DFA, the client established a seamless data flow between these systems. It ensured that product data could be extracted, synchronized, and sent in the required formats, eliminating the need for manual data entry and reducing errors.
Reduced Customization Effort and Cost: With DFA, the need for customization was minimized. Adapters were developed for each vendor to handle different data formats, reducing the effort and cost associated with customization for each vendor added in the future.
Scalability and Maintenance: The MACH architecture employed in DFA allowed for a pluggable, scalable, and replaceable system. Mega Menu: The addition of the UB Mega Menu extension improved the user experience by offering a more intuitive and user-friendly navigation system.
Quick Search Filter: Implementing the Amasty Shop by Brand extension enabled a quick search filter that allowed customers to narrow their product search based on brand, gender, and price.
Custom Promo Blocks on a Product Listing Page: They highlighted unique services such as 0% financing and watch exchange, emphasizing the competitive advantages of the brand.
