Give us a quick overview on Agente. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

Agente company was founded in 2009 and still is among the top UX/UI design agencies in Belarus and often gets a leading ratings positions among New York, and Gdansk companies where we have our front offices. Development center is located in Minsk. We specialize in UX/UI Design, Web and Mobile Development and QA. Mostly focus on creating eLearning solutions as well as solutions for eCommerce, Healthcare, PropTech and Travel industries.

The main motives to start were 1) the desire and ability to make user experience in useful applications better, easier, and more comfortable; 2) willingness to help SMBs and large businesses expand via custom software development and thoughtful design.

What is your role in the management and development of Agente?

I make decisions on company strategy, choose and research directions for its growth, set up business processes, think of partnerships.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

We have created our in-house Learning Management System, that can be customized for any business that want to spread their courses online.

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

We split deliveries into 2-week sprints to ensure better traceability and predictability for customers.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

We carefully analyze client's business and environment our team needs to plug in before suggesting a specific tech solution.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

It depends on the client business needs, target audience, their behavior, strategic view of the application in future, available budget. Usually, we get requests with from customers who have already decided on the platform for the mobile app development, but in case our client is not sure what to choose, firstly we do research and then find the suitable variant for specific needs.

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We work via two models of cooperation: project-base development and dedicated team. In terms of these approaches, we define Fixed Price and Time & Material pricing models. Fixed Price works for the project with strictly fixed scope, terms and budget. Time & Material is used with flexible project scope, timeline and budget.

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

Be transparent in terms of software development lifecycle, resources&risks associated and measurable outcome.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

We have a habit of trend watching and market analysis and always are thinking of how to make our business system more effective. We try to anticipate IT market trends in order to gradually implement changes so that both our employees and customers can be calm.From project to project we choose the most suitable cooperation models, work methodologies in order to adapt to specific project requirements and client needs.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

Suppose that these technologies usage will only grow in the nearest1-2 years, especially we see that around our eLearning and PropTech projects. IoT is really helpful when you need to monitor and support huge building, systems, etc., and the demand for such projects is increasing. AR/VR levels-up learning process and makes buying process more interactive.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

Noticed the trend of syncing mobile devices with wearables ,homes and microlearning (that is useful also for corporate sector). We also see that the number of purchases in our clients’ software grow from mCommerce – people mostly buy on-the-go. And NFT usage also gains popularity.
