Give us a quick overview on TekRevol. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

We started TekRevol back in 2014 with the aim to create the next disruptive technology company which tightly binds Mobile Apps with the next generation technologies such as BlockChain, IoT, AR etc. With the world transitioning towards a more digitally connected world, it gave me the opportunity to utilize my skill set and interest in technology to create a company that is dedicated to the development of Mobile Apps and their integration with the upcoming technologies that are bound to revolutionize the world, and so far our growth has been nothing short of amazing.


What is your role in the management and development of TekRevol?


I am the Co-Founder and CTO of TekRevol. My role involves taking strategic decisions, managing and overseeing the day to day operations related to business, development and delivery and providing leadership and vision to define the technological roadmap of the company. My focus is on fostering a mindset of problem-solving through innovation and creativity.


Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

We started the company with a team of 2 people, working in a small office space. In the span of 15 months, we have over 60 resources and a dedicated team that understands both the culture and mission of our company. Today, we are recognized and listed among the top 3 companies on clutch in various different domains. Our Partnership with the PaPP program, working to help bridge the gap between the youth and law enforcement agencies in Baltimore city, is something we feel as one of our biggest achievements, a project dedicated to helping young members of our society and creating a safer environment for all.


How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?


We follow an agile methodology to plan the project and its phases. We have 100% record of delivering the project on time with utmost client satisfaction. We sit together with clients to understand the project concept and extract the requirements to compile a scope to develop a product as per the client expectation. Our experienced project management team communicates with the client on every level and set up proper sprints and retrospective meetings to make the process smooth. Project management tools such as Asana are used for collaboration, to ensure maximum transparency with our client.  With every milestone being achieved, we deliver a report to the client, gain their valuable feedback, and act upon it before taking up the next phase. This helps us in delivering the projects in a timely manner, without any delays.


How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

This depends on the client expectations from their business perspective. We utilize our past experience and our analytics’ team run a preliminary diagnostic based on the requirements to make this decision easier for the client. We do competitive analysis, feasibility, and profitability and share other useful information that helps clients better understand the platform that best fits their application.  


Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

It depends on the nature and complexity of the project; it is also predicated on the budget under which the client wants the application to be completed. Once you understand the complete requirement of the app, it is easier to identify and suggest the type of the application. We normally prefer native development over hybrid development. Native app development gives more room for developers to be creative and helps produce a better user experience as compared to other hybrid applications. Ultimately, both platforms have their positives and their limitations and in the end it comes down with the requirements and the cost ceiling that our clients have and we make sure we give them the best based on those limitations.


How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

Our pricing depends on the project requirements and we do an initial level of efforts evaluation once we start discussing the project with the client in pre-sales. It involves the numbers of resources allocated and hours been spent on every component of the project. This allows the client to review and get a better insight from a technical standpoint of their requirements. There is no set price for application development and it varies based on the requirements, functions, the complexity of the tasks, the platforms and devices for which the application needs to be compatible. Based on all these and the clients’ needs, a price is derived, making it a variable function.


How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Our competitor analysis allows our applications to be state of the art, with functions based on the target audience of our clients’.  This allows our applications to enhance our clients’ business to be effective based on industry standards, with interactive design and a user-friendly interface for swift navigation. The key is to keep in mind the need and wants of our clients’ consumer base to ensure an application that delivers best to their needs.


What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?


Communication is the cornerstone of client satisfaction. Complete transparency and accountability is what defines your relationship with your clients. Using project management tools to provide timely updates on the process is the best practice to satisfy your clients. It is also incredibly important to weigh in your expertise on matters. Clients’ have their preferences but they are always looking for expert insight. Using your skill set to give suggestions and to provide results that are high-quality and accurate to your promises creates satisfaction in your clients.


How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

At Tekrevol, we encourage and ensure that our resources are always kept updated on the latest technology trends, innovations and advancements to ensure that we can apply cutting edge technology to enhance our problem-solving method. Because of this, our developers enjoy creative freedom in the development process to give results that are ahead of the competitive curve.


What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

With Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and IoT, comes the ability to reshape the way we live our lives. It brings a type of connectivity and convenience that has only been seen in sci-fi movies but now feel a lot closer to reality. In my own field, these technological advancements mean freedom, creativity and potential that has never previously been tapped into. From a development standpoint, the use of AR, VR and IoT will allow developers to use their creative touch to create applications that surpass the current scope of possibility within our markets. As these technologies integrate within our everyday lives, new possibilities, new demands, new business opportunities are bound to turn up and those who can capture that market first are bound for great success in the highly digitized and automated world.


What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

Automation and IoT is the future of Mobile Technology, as one of the most advanced developments in a field that is still in its early stages of development. With the development of 5G technology and improved connectivity, we are going to see applications and their uses expand into territories they have not yet tapped into.
