Give us a quick overview on Ace Infoway. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

Ace Infoway was started as a web design unit in 1 small room with 2 computers and 3 zealous and tech-savvy individuals.  With little hard work and lots of enthusiasm, in less than a year, we took off from the ground; our team grew in size and we hosted substantial clientele. 

Today we serve partners & businesses across the globe and have now grown into a company of over 300+ aspiring professionals with 4 distinct divisions catering to a variety of business sectors. We now offer a lot more services like Web/Mobile applications development, eCommerce solutions, SaaS products, Cloud Computing, Architectural CAD design & drafting, Digital & Social media marketing.

In today’s fast-moving world, it is paramount for companies to utilize mobile/web technologies at its best to serve an extensive customer base.  Our motive is to develop feature-rich, easy-to-use mobile/web applications for our clients to extend their reach and achieve their customer loyalties. Our belief is “We prosper when our clients thrive”.

What is your role in the management and development of Ace Infoway?

I am the CEO of Ace Infoway, from the inception of the company to date; I have dived into many empty pools, toppled over a few horses, made odd mistakes. However, every time I have bounced back with lots of valuable learning. This stock of experiences I hold is my main contribution to the management and development of Ace Infoway today.

My management style is to empower and encourage my people to explore their potential to its fullest capacity. Allowing people to find their own solutions not only adds a new perspective but also leads to some of the exceptional and innovative ideas. I ensure that this practice permeates down to every employee in the organization to create a healthy and happy workplace. I believe this is the secret recipe to my company’s growth and success. 
Another major role I play is to visualize/conceive new ideas and scrutinize them with my leadership team. This helps us to build sustainable business models to expand in today’s technological space.  Innovation and new initiatives underpin our growth strategy.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry.

We started from a small office with 3 people & today we have expanded our operations in 4 countries serving 100+ agency partners and 1000+ customers across the globe. We have worked with some large brands (including some Fortune 500 companies) in Insurance, Advertising, Publishing, eCommerce & AEC segments for which we offer tech services for their elite clients. The solutions we have provided are used by millions and making a difference in their business operations.

How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?

We have a well-defined process to arrive at a project timeline. The first step is to understand the client’s requirements and prepare the Project Scope statement. This is broken down into small tasks and important milestones. We then determine the project dependencies and total time needed for each task.  Finally, we identify resource availability and build a robust and realistic project timeline.

All our projects are managed using Agile methodology by our qualified Scrum masters which involve constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement at every stage.  This method allows decisions to be tested and rejected early with feedback loops, identify any bottlenecks and minimize the risk of any delays in delivery.  One thing we can promise our clients is ‘Superior Quality Product’ with ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

We help clients to choose from 2 different platforms i.e., Native or Hybrid.  Both these have their own benefits and constraints.  We evaluate a few factors with our clients like their requirements, budget, target audience, scalability, and future prospects.  These form the basis of our recommendations.

Choosing between hybrid or native platforms is one of the most important decisions that determine the success of the app, so if proper due diligence is not performed, it can lead to major issues.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

Hybrid apps are independent of the operating system (iOS or Android), extremely cost-effective, and can be developed relatively quickly.  Hence, we recommend this as the best option for most companies especially the start-up ones.

Native apps are more suited for larger companies with higher budget ceilings who require better security & user experience.  Native apps take longer to develop but are more robust in accessing all the features of the devices such as GPS, Cameras, Microphones, etc. resulting in better performance.

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

We have 3 different pricing structures:
1) Fixed Scope: “Priced on a Project” Ideally suited to small to medium-sized projects with specific requirements. There will be a fixed cost for these projects with set timelines.

2) Time Model: “Priced on Time” In this model, clients are charged for the time taken to resolve any support or maintenance queries, ad hoc changes/upgrade requests, or any undefined scope of work carried out.

3) FTE Model: “Priced on Monthly Fee basis” This is mainly for larger organizations, where a dedicated team of technicians/developers is deployed to meet the client’s constant requirements.  This is the most cost-effective model for long-term projects.

How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?

Our company has developed a number of successful mobile applications that have benefited our clients and taken their business to a whole new level. To deliver creative solutions to our clients, we thoroughly examine their demands and plan smooth, time-bound deliveries. The result is delighted clients who feel the same level of enthusiasm and ownership in their work as we do.

We have a number of clients who have been working with us for years now and have grown their businesses through our apps and products. There are three categories of applications that we make for customers- first is to create brand awareness, second is increasing operational excellence in business and third is apps that have an independent SaaS business model and revenue being generated from the apps. We have been fortunate to contribute in all three areas of app development.

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

Client Satisfaction is the ultimate key to the growth of any organization and we are no different. Developing a customer- centric culture, mapping our customer’s journey, delivering high-quality products, providing exceptional customer services, consistently communicating with customers, and getting feedback loops are some of the best practices we follow to attain maximum client satisfaction. Through these practices, we have achieved a 93% customer retention rate. Trust and Confidence are what we build with our customers.

How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?

Technology has the shelf life of a banana, which needs to be evolved periodically. Our company strives to innovate and stay up to date on new technological advancements. We do this by staying informed about new developments and keeping up with new applications.

Our team members are continuously trained and given ample opportunities to explore the newest technology trends so that they can provide clients with the most effective and up-to-date solutions available. We identify an opportunity and launch with a rapid go-to-market approach instead of traditional business growth strategies. One of the unique things that we do is invest, and become early adopters for new technology implementation within the app development space.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

VR and AR are the future, and they have already demonstrated some successful industry use-cases, including gaming, training, healthcare, education, entertainment, real estate, etc. AR & VR technologies help to provide an engaging user experience that is highly interactive & efficient.

IoT is completely changing the landscape of people’s life. Internet & connectivity is not limited to only computers, phones, or tablets but anything that can be connected is now online. I am sure that going forward craving for smart devices is only going to increase and only time will tell how that is changing our lives.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

Mobile is at the core of digital convergence. Our daily lives are increasingly reliant on mobile devices. People are spending more time on mobile devices for various things- from their work to education, to entertainment. In fact, if we look back to 2020, during Covid-19, mobile technologies helped people on a wide variety of levels.  

Business-wise, mobile apps offer a lot of advantages such as branding, direct marketing, active customer engagement, customized user experience, and personalized customer service. Hence mobile apps have become an essential part of every business’s digital strategy.

There is a lot of competition and it is really difficult for customers to determine who will solve their problems as effectively as possible. Third-party research agencies like help clients connect with qualified service providers quickly and easily.
