Give us a quick overview of C-Metric Solutions. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in software development?

C-Metric was first known as “CM Software” when it was founded in New Jersey in 1995. We are a Silver Partner with Microsoft. We are one of the industry’s pioneers, having serviced more than 100 clients internationally, and continue to create and provide top-notch information system solutions. With the aid of our technical solutions, we create value for our clients through business processes automation, new product development, new market penetration, and improving compliance. We specialize in the creation of custom software, the advancement of technology, automation, and technology consulting.

In 2013, I started working with C-Metric, and I feel that the secret to being successful in the sector is to have an efficient delivery procedure. Delivering the proper solution also heavily relies on good project management, team building, and enhancing technical team strength. In my perspective and based on my 23 years of experience working in the IT sector, I have discovered that clients will always be satisfied with a project that is developed with promise, managed responsibly, and delivered on schedule. In turn, this will aid in the expansion and success of the organizations.

What is your role in the management and development of C-Metric Solution?

I am in charge of C- Metric's technology development services delivery operations in India. In addition to overseeing general business activities in C-Metric, India, my main work areas are CRM, Delivery, and Resource Management.

My role in Client facing-
In 2013, we launched the Technology Development Unit (TDU) based in India. We started with US-based clients and then grew our business to other regions of the world. Strategic connections in many European nations allowed us to increase our clientele. We currently have clients in the UK, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Norway, Belgium, France, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore.
Our technology stack now includes C#, .NET, SharePoint, .NET core,.NET MVC, MEAN Stack (AngularJS, NodeJS, React, MongoDB, etc.), Open Source Technologies (PHP, Ruby on Rails, eCommerce, Wordpress, JAVA, Magento, etc.), Mobile Application Development/hybrid, and Cross Platform. Initially, we only focused on Microsoft solutions (iOS, Android, Xamarin, iconic, Flutter, PhoneGap, etc.,) DevOp, AI, ML, IoT, Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.  By providing technological solutions to integrate with applications like SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamic, third-party applications, etc., we have also increased our integrations' capabilities.

My role in Team facing-
I worked on internal skill building, training, and up scaling our team members to acquire skills and get technical empowerment in order to strengthen our team.
We have certified resources for Microsoft, AWS, Cisco and VMWare etc.

How do you schedule the development phases of the software to promise the timeline to your clients?

The engagement model that the client selects will determine the delivery timeline that we commit. For clients that depend on us for the growth of their businesses and projects, we provide the best service possible.

Our Timeline models

Dedicated model–
In this model, our resources are managed by a project manager from the customer side, and they control the overall project delivery schedule.

Agile Model –
In this model, in addition to the developer(s), we offer specialized resources and personnel. A team typically consists of business analysts, lead developer, software engineers, quality analysts, designers, and DevOps engineers. As the name of this model suggests, we use Agile Methodology consisting of various sprints in accordance with the requirements and priorities established by the client. We plan the resource allocation to achieve client’s budget and timeline objectives. Our business analyst may first assume responsibilities prior to the development team to define scope, capture requirements, and outline a solution of the project coordinating with the client.

MRR (Monthly Recurring Retainer) model–
In this model, we provide our client budgeting flexibility to our client by deploying the resources within the budget delivery goals. The project is typically managed by a project manager from the customer side. 

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for software development? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

Our primary focus is to help our clients increase profitability with significant return on their investment by understanding and helping them achieve their business goals.

When a client contacts us with a technology development request, we ask questions and listen carefully about the problems they want to solve, their true business challenges, and goals they want to achieve. We understand their preferences for the software's development, and their expectations for how our solution would meet their goals and objectives.

We work hard to understand our client’s goals and objectives and the information obtained regarding the project requirement. We give high priority to communication and have a well-defined process to get complete clarity.

We fully understand their problems, their current infrastructure, and their current applications before assisting them in upgrading and perfecting their configuration. We will recommend the technology and tools to leverage off-the-shelf technology or create new technology from scratch. From a market and cost viewpoint, we assist our clients in reducing cost or gaining market share, consequently improving profitability. While minimizing costly acquisition of hardware or infrastructure.

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

The duration and complexity of the project we want to produce are always taken into account when determining our prices. We choose a pricing strategy based on the talents required, the length of the contract, and the complexity. Our fees are designed to be competitive in marketplace, while also providing high ROI to our clients.

As we understand clients technology needs and business objectives, we develop a proposal for the resources needed to carry out the project that will meet those needs and objectives.

Our Pricing Models:

Dedicated Model – Monthly or Bi-Weekly pricing for the Resources hired
Agile Model – We provide budgetary pricing for each sprint. The actual billing will be covered with the actual feature, or the project phase completed.

What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?

We have clients working with us for more than 25 years. We almost never lose a client due to unsatisfactory performance.

 At C-Metric, our most important tenet are forming a strong relationship with our clients, through building a strong rapport, mutual trust, and a real partnership with our clients. We are pleased that our efforts to uphold a healthy relationship with our clients have been successful and reliable. And as a result we have an exceptional client retention record, and that the majority of our clients stay with us for years. We think that a close working relationship with the clients is more important being their technological partner. This has enabled us to keep up good communication with all of our clients.
