Give us a quick overview on Cubix. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?

Headquartered in Washington D.C., Cubix is a software development company that started its operations in 2008. I wanted to help startups and enterprises with innovative software solutions that will take them to new horizons of success.

What is your role in the management and development of Cubix?

I am the Co-Founder and the CEO of Cubix. My job at the company is bringing together my developers, designers, and creative artists and developing software solutions focused on solving problems. My focus is on fostering a mindset of problem-solving while holding on to innovation and creativity. Having a vast development experiment allows me to overlook the processes and projects.

Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry

We sit together with the client and evaluate the technical requirements and other aspects of the project. Our app development and project management teams actively participate with the client, so we completely understand the project and set realistic deadlines. It’s easier for us to meet the timelines since we analyze multiple internal and external factors before setting them. Let’s call it teamwork.

How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?

A thorough analysis helps us in recommending the platforms and strategies to the client. It’s part of the overall process. Once we have a client on board or showing interest in our services, we work together for a profitable solution. The client shares his/her expectations from the mobile app, business goals, and future plans. We do our research to explore the respective industry and study the competitors. It helps us know how the competitors are performing, understand the potential customers, and thus, get comfortable with the project.

Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?

It really depends on the client’s requirements and business goals expected from the mobile apps. We discuss the possibilities of each platform with the client and finalize it accordingly. However, if you talk about preferences, I prefer hybrid applications with native hardware. The native apps are simpler to develop and less complex. The maintenance requirements aren’t high either. You can change the development options if you wish to.

How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?

Our pricing depends on the client’s requirements. We don’t have fixed prices, of course. Every project has its own demands and resource allocation varies accordingly. We discuss the project first and then present the costs. However, an average mobile app that we develop costs about $50k.

What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?

The technologies have tremendous potential in the future. 2018 witnessed some great advancements in these technologies. Mobile phones are increasing with every passing minute, and so are AR, VR, and IoT. Multiple industries are exploiting the technologies for customer-centric services. By 2020, augmented reality is expected to have 1 billion users. Cubix is eager to implement these technologies into different mobile apps.

What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?

The future of the mobile phone is already here. Almost 63% of people sleep alongside their mobile phones. We take the phone everywhere with us, so the opportunities are infinite. Location-based marketing is just one example of how mobile technology can unfold a world of opportunities. We are also focusing on mobile apps more than anything.
