eZverifi – Identity Verification Platform Modernization
eZverifi, a U.S.-based peer-to-peer verification platform, partnered with iCommuneTech to rebuild its stalled and non-functional application. The existing system had a fragmented PHP and Laravel codebase, no working database, incomplete integrations, missing documentation, and no usable demo environment.
iCommuneTech rebuilt the platform using Laravel 9, PHP 8.1, and MySQL. The work included recreating the database, implementing Firebase OTP authentication and messaging, integrating document verification, geolocation, Rekognition, and analytics services, and preparing the platform for AWS deployment. The team also organized the codebase in GitHub and updated the interface using Figma designs.
The platform was restored to a fully working, demo-ready state, with core verification workflows successfully re-enabled. The rebuild restored investor confidence, enabled future Phase 2 development, and delivered a return on investment within six months. The client also signed a maintenance and Phase 2 development contract on the final delivery day.
CDLApps – Driver Recruiting and Management Software
CDLApps partnered with iCommuneTech to replace manual driver hiring and compliance processes with a centralized recruiting platform for trucking fleets. The previous system required repeated data entry, manual document handling, disconnected compliance checks, and frequent follow-ups with drivers, slowing onboarding and increasing the risk of missing information.
The new SaaS platform digitized driver applications, document collection, DQ files, compliance tracking, messaging, and recruiter workflows. It includes mobile apps, automated driver-profile creation, DocuSign integration, real-time compliance tracking, a centralized admin dashboard, and connections with FMCSA, PSP, MVR, and other verification services.
The solution reduced recruiters manual work by 30–40%, increased application completion rates by 15–20%, and reduced compliance errors by 20–35%. Centralized communication, automated alerts, and analytics also improved recruiter productivity by 25–35%, helping fleets manage hiring and compliance more efficiently.
Savvy Fr8T – Freight Management Software
iCommuneTech helped Savvy Fr8t Solutions, a Cayman Islands logistics company, replace its outdated Shiptocayman system with a modern platform for managing air and ocean freight. The previous system relied on manual data entry, repeated rate checks, and disconnected shipment, container, and invoice modules, consuming 46 hours of administrative work each day.
The new platform automated shipment creation, dimensional-weight calculations, freight rates, and status updates. It also connected shipment, container, rate, and invoice workflows, allowing information to move between modules without repeated entry. Clients can now pre-alert shipments, convert them into live shipments, raise and track support tickets, and pay invoices securely through Stripe.
The modernization reduced manual work, improved data accuracy, and made customer communication more efficient. Shipment processing became 60% faster, rate and dimensional-weight calculations were fully automated, and the company achieved a return on investment in under five months.
A&I Fuel Finder
iCommuneTech developed a route-based fuel optimization platform for A&I Fuel Finder, a fuel management company operating across 48 U.S. states with more than 1,500 partner fuel stations. The platform helps drivers find the lowest-priced fuel along planned routes while viewing station distance, amenities, fuel availability, and other details.
The solution replaced manual fuel-price comparisons and inefficient route planning with real-time data from Google Maps and the EFS pricing feed. It includes a web platform and mobile apps for Android and iOS, along with fuel card, invoice, and payment-history management. The system was built using CorePHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, React Native, and AWS Cloud.
After implementation, fuel-planning time was reduced by 50%, trip efficiency improved by 2030%, fuel costs decreased by up to 20%, and driver satisfaction increased by 40%. The complete projectincluding development, integrations, testing, deployment, and supportwas delivered over 11 months.
TOA (Transportation of America)
Transportation of America partnered with iCommuneTech to modernize its dispatch operations. The company's previous system relied heavily on manual updates, limited automation, and disconnected tools, making it difficult to coordinate drivers, manage loads, track deliveries, and process invoices efficiently.
iCommuneTech developed a unified transportation management system with automated SMS and email alerts, live driver-location tracking, EDI integration, QuickBooks synchronization, and automated invoice generation. Built with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and JavaScript, the platform brought driver, load, client, billing, and communication activities into one system.
The new solution reduced dispatch processing time to less than one minute, minimized manual follow-ups and data entry, improved communication among drivers, staff, and customers, and reduced invoicing errors. The project was completed in 12 weeks through planning, development, testing, pilot rollout, deployment, and performance monitoring.
Fuel TMS
iCommuneTech modernized TMSCLOUD, a 20-year-old transportation management platform used by carriers and dispatch teams across the U.S. The existing system separated fuel management and transportation operations, requiring multiple logins, duplicate data entry, and manual spreadsheet-based tracking. Its outdated PHP 5.6 codebase also limited security, maintenance, and future development.
The solution unified fuel management and TMS operations into one platform, migrated the system to Laravel, integrated ELD provider data, automated fuel updates and invoicing, and introduced a modern interface for dispatchers and administrators. The upgraded platform also improved data visibility, reduced duplicate work, and created a more scalable foundation for future integrations and features.
Following the six-month modernization, operational efficiency increased from 40% to 90%, while customer satisfaction improved by 60%, with NPS rising from 7.2 to 9.1. Fuel and invoice processing became 30% faster, operational costs decreased by $500 per month, and TMSCLOUD achieved full return on investment within six months.
