Peerplays - Gambling Platform
Peerplays (link is external) is the world’s first blockchain enabled Gaming and Gambling platform that allows players to interact directly with each other using the underlying P2P network. On the Peerplays network, Instead of betting against “the house”, players bet against other players with utmost transaction transparency, resulting in an ideal platform for tournament games and wagering. Smart contract escrow services are used to ensure fairness between players as they play peer-to-peer games.
Users are able to wager in BTC, ETH or user generated tokens. Any player can issue and create their own in-game tokens and they can charge other players a fee for buying, selling or transferring these User-Issued Asset (UIA) tokens. The tokens are becoming popular with MMO and RPG games for “in-game” item purchase and exchange. Peerplays utilizes the Graphene framework, a cryptographically secure toolkit developed by BitShares.
BlockCerts - Open Standard for Blockchain Credentials
BlockCerts is a fork of Ethereum blockchain with its own economy and token standard. The economy includes the main currency - BLOCKCERTS (BCERTS) as the core currency. Being developed in cooperation with Oracle, the blockchain and server modules of the system are to be fully compatible with Oracle server infrastructure. BCERTS are then converted by smart contract-based applications into different tokens, each of them individual for its application. These secondary tokens play the role of digital certificates, i.e. medical prescriptions and property ownership proof. The goal of this system is to provide a transparent and immutable record of operations within these applications. Additional KYC process will allow users with different roles within said applications to perform the required actions and validate each others' identities.
