Give us a quick overview on Zignuts Technolab. When and how did you begin this journey and what were your motives to be successful in app development?
We are a team of young and dynamic people who strive to deliver value to our clients by providing the best consulting needed to successfully drive the project, producing highly performance and scalable solutions.
We started in 2012 as a consulting company and later on started our in-house development facility. The main motive of our journey is to listen and comprehend to our client’s needs and build lasting business relations. To be successful in the area of app development, maintain transparency and ethics with your clients, be agile and listen to the changing needs of your clients and address them appropriately and keep evolving with all the latest trends and best practices.
What is your role in the management and development of Zignuts Technolab?
I have several roles in the organization. The key role is to manage the technical operations, deliveries and accounts management. Apart from that I am actively involved in managing client relations, innovation and technical growth, process engineering, training and recruitment.
Tell us about your biggest achievement in the industry
In the market which is so competitive, the biggest achievement I can consider is our 99% client retention in the last year with an addition of 20+ key accounts.
How do you schedule the development phases of the apps to promise the timeline to your clients?
We usually prepare the overall project plan and actively discuss the plan with our clients to make sure that the plan and its deliverables are aligned with clients’ expectations and its overall project roadmap. We use certain tools and strategies to make sure our timelines are always in line with clients’ needs.
How do you help your clients in choosing the right yet profitable platform for app development?
That is where the “listening” part comes in. We listen to our clients’ needs and future goals and we discuss strategies, target audience, expected number of users and data growth predictions. Based on these various facts and figures, we recommend the technology stack and app platform.
Which would you suggest for a successful and profitable business progression, Native or hybrid apps? How do you define the factors that influenced you to make this choice?
Well, it depends on how you define success and profitability. The measures of these two are different for each client. The decision is mainly taken after analyzing the nature of the app, its integrations, future goals and upcoming features.
How do you scheme your pricing model? How do you fix your budget?
We support three main models; Fixed Price, Time & Material, and Dedicated Team. The Time & Material is suitable for projects that are inclined towards ongoing specification and design changes. We recommend a Fixed Price solution for projects which have well-defined requirement specifications, have defined expected deliverables and timelines. This model is best suited for small and medium projects. Overall, we are flexible with the payment structure so that we can meet the client requirements and expectations.
How helpful are the mobile apps developed by your team, for enhancing your clients’ business?
We have developed several apps and our clients and the end-users are using the apps since long. Our apps have been helping our clients and they can serve their end-users more rapidly than before, the interactions between company and users are close and quick. The feedback cycle is usually reduced and therefore our clients are able to deliver changes quicker based on the market needs. Also, our apps have helped our clients to raise funds for their startups and investors have praised the apps, its designs, user experience and overall performance. This is a key factor in considering our team for app development.
What according to you are the best practices to attain client satisfaction?
Listening to client’s needs and derive the needs of the end-users. The only best practice that I consider important is your relations to clients and business understanding. All the other things will naturally come in place. You really need to own your clients’ projects.
How do you update your business system to be in pace with the technological advancements?
We usually use the internal tools that are well-known and proven in solving certain area of project management and other business aspects. Regarding the technological advancements, we always learn new things and share the knowledge among the team members so that everyone in the team is involved and informed.
What are your thoughts about AR, VR and Internet of Things (IoT)?
We are quite optimistic about IoT and AR, VR. The continuous improvements and adoption in the field of IoT is tremendous. The data or patterns that IoT will generate will give a great boost in decision making and data analytics. Several industries have already started seeing the benefits of IoT and we have also developed solutions that are part of IoT ecosystem. AR, VR is good but I think it will take some more time to reach to general audience.
What do you think will be the future of Mobile technology?
Mobile technology has been evolving and last few years we could see a tremendous growth in smart watches and smart TVs. More smart devices are coming along. I believe that mobile technology combined with IoT and AI in order to develop smarter solutions should be seen as a near future.
