Migration from Custom CMS to WordPress

Challenge
The client’s website was built on a site builder platform. While it worked reliably for basic needs, it lacked flexibility for the client’s growing requirements. Key limitations included:
No functionality for scheduling or booking
Inability to add promotional banners or run promotional campaigns effectively
Restrictions on integrating the preferred payment method
These constraints prevented the client from scaling digital operations and delivering the desired user experience.
Solution
The project was migrated to WordPress, keeping the existing design to ensure brand consistency, while extending the website with the required custom functionality.

The client’s website was built on a custom CMS that was no longer supported by the previous development team. Content management was inefficient: all information was hard-coded, and even minor updates required developer assistance. This limited flexibility and slowed down daily operations.

The goal was to migrate the website to an open-source CMS that would empower the client’s non-technical team to independently:
