Achievion Solutions designed architecture of the ASSIST application which is responsible for intake of complex applications from the grantees using. ASSIST is built on SOA best practices and communicates with internal eRA systems via Web Services protocol. We’ve also led development and testing of one of the internal modules that download complex applications from Grants.gov system and decomposes it for downstream processing. By the end of this project, eRA re-emphasized its positions as a leading grants management provider in Federal Government.
1001 Wonders
After a brief consultation, our team was selected to develop the 1001 Wonders of the World app. We created an easy-to-use interface that features an interactive map search function, as well as, search filters by Category, Month, Country, Region, Places You’ve Been, or Places You Want to Go. The app includes a tutorial and descriptions of the 1,000 most interesting places in the world. We even added a feature that makes it possible for US citizens to check the visa requirements for traveling to each country right in the app. Other features include allowing users to bookmark their favorite places and share them with their friends on Facebook. The app currently has a 4+ star rating in the app stores and has been installed over 100,000 times.
Kids Learn to…
Following an in-depth vetting process, our team was selected to create four Russian language apps for Intelli Joy – ?ids ABC Letter Trains (Lite), Mos?ic for Children, ?ids Learn to Read (Lite), and ?ids Learn Shapes FREE. With the Kids… apps, young children can perform a variety of tasks that encourage learning, including identifying, finding, matching, and sorting letters, shapes, and objects while receiving positive reinforcement from a likeable teacher. Preschoolers can also use their creativity to create original artwork with the Mos?ic for Children app.
We were also specifically asked to leave out extra effects or features that would detract from the in-app learning experiences. The Kids Learn to Read app has been featured at the Google I/O Conference in San Francisco. The apps currently have 4.0 ratings in the app stores and have been installed over 1 million times!
Social Tables
Achievion’s infrastructure and Cloud experts analyzed the ongoing system issues and realized that product support infrastructure relied on a single MySQL database server hosted by a 3rd party provider. We created a roadmap to shift their entire infrastructure to the AWS cloud and configure it for peak load scenarios using highly scalable AWS services. The outcome was a resilient solution equipped to support 1000s of simultaneous user requests.

Achievion Solutions was selected as a primary IT vendor for Pay4SchoolStuff platform in 2014. From day one we established proper communication protocols to ensure quick issue resolution turnaround. Our architect analyzed the system and suggested ways of improving its performance, stability and ensure smooth user experience. Achievion developers implemented hundreds of new features long awaited by the platform end users. We have also improved the backend administration site that now allows instant visibility into multiple facets of the platform e-commerce components. Achievion team performed in-depth research into the subject matter area and came up with a Mobile + Web based solution design. The platform consists of:
– Cross-platform (Android and iOS) tablet mobile app that allows field engineers to efficiently plan their daily route and enables them to enter survey site geo-location data directly into the centralized system leaving tedious manual data entry and sketching behind.
– SaaS-based backoffice application that consolidates the data submitted by multiple fields engineers. The system allows office personnel to generate compliance reports in 1 hour with minimal efforts bypassing existing multi-step process that involves several disparate tools.
Achievion platform successfully achieved the goal by reducing EME report end-to-end generation from several weeks to 1 day. Moreover, Telnet now has a SaaS application which they can sell on subscription basis to other telecom companies.
Yoga.com
After a rigorous selection process, our team was selected to bring this advanced app concept into existence. We developed the server parts of the social functionality of the popular mobile applications ?ll-In-Fitness and ?ll-In-Yoga. Users of these mobile applications can upload their photos to a social network, like, comment and follow them, and browse the most popular photos, in a social network environment based on the principles of Instagram. The social functions are also available from a web front-end with similar basic functionality.
The YOGA.com app contains the largest database of yoga poses, with 289 poses and breathing exercises and 37 ready programs. The application also offers such popular integrated functions as hashtags, geolocation, photo import from Instagram, purchase of video tutorials, etc. To date, it has been installed over 1 million times and currently holds a rating of 4.1 in the app stores.
