An Ecommerce Multivendor Marketplace for Marijuana.
We were vetted by one of our long-time colleagues to help the Herojane team build an MVP platform that could solve their immediate need for a WordPress-based woocommerce platform that could showcase products, receive orders, have multiple brands and multiple stores per brand, etc.
We also had to comply with all the regulations in the Cannabis industry like age restrictions and region-based delivery, tax calculations based on counties/cities/states, weight limits, signup information, etc.
We have done a lot of customizations in the platform to meet its custom needs.
Enhancing Visual Appeal for an E-commerce site
Lulu and Stone was a digital marketplace for exquisite cookie stamps and cutters with over 40k orders. However, with their success, they felt that updating the website could help them be more active and increase their store reputation.
The task of enhancing the digital presence, starting with revamping their product detail page was given to us by Beesoul LLC. Even though they had a website, they needed to modernize their product. They also wanted to showcase their product with great discoverability by displaying top-selling items for each month. Furthermore, the security and the backend infrastructure were also needing an upgrade.
With planning, analysis, and directing the existing website, we upgraded it by adding search functionality and gradually improving its backend. The product detail page we created had a sleeker design than the previous one. With responsive design elements, the website transformed into a visual bliss.
The development did not stop here. Data analysis of the products was integrated with a dynamic search bar and top-selling products were displayed. Parallelly with visual development the backend and security were also in focused and created a robust architecture. Techniques for Database optimization were also implemented.
After the completion of the upgrading of the website according to the data provided by the client, revenue increased by 90 %. from before because of great visual, smooth website navigation.

A lot of thought has been put into making the users feel comfortable while using the platform including the choice of colors(for example, we have rarely used bright red). We have maintained a color palette uniform, user experience smooth, buttons slick, minimized barrier of entry, fewer clicks as much as possible, etc.
We have integrated discourse as a community forum with our platform to help healthcare practitioners provide more information on topics and help parents gain more information.
