Optimum-Exercise monitoring App
Optimum is an AI-powered physiotherapy exercise monitoring app designed to revolutionize remote patient care and accelerate recovery outcomes. Many physiotherapy patients struggle to perform prescribed exercises correctly when not under direct supervision, leading to ineffective therapy, prolonged recovery times, and frustration for both patients and healthcare providers.
We partnered with Optimum to design an intelligent mobile application that bridges the gap between in-clinic sessions and at-home exercise routines. Our solution empowers patients to perform exercises correctly through real-time motion tracking and instant feedback, while enabling physiotherapists to monitor patient progress remotely and adjust treatment plans based on actual performance data.
For patients, we designed an intuitive exercise experience with clear visual demonstrations, step-by-step guidance, and AI-powered motion tracking that analyzes form in real-time. When patients deviate from proper technique, the app provides immediate corrective feedback, ensuring exercises are performed safely and effectively. Progress tracking features motivate continued adherence by showing improvement over time, while integrated appointment booking keeps patients connected with their physiotherapists.
For physiotherapists, we created comprehensive monitoring dashboards that provide automated reports on patient adherence, exercise performance quality, and progress trends. These insights enable remote assessment and data-driven treatment plan adjustments without requiring constant in-person check-ins, making physiotherapy more accessible and efficient.
Our design process began with extensive research involving both physiotherapy patients and practicing physiotherapists. We conducted interviews to understand patient pain points around exercise compliance, confidence in performing movements correctly, and motivation challenges. Simultaneously, we explored physiotherapist needs for remote monitoring capabilities, actionable patient data, and efficient workflow integration.
This research informed our user-centered design approach, where we developed detailed user personas, mapped patient exercise journeys, and created wireframes that balanced technological sophistication with accessibility. Given the complexity of integrating AI motion tracking with intuitive user experience, we prioritized clarity and encouragement in every interaction, using non-technical language and supportive visual cues.
Through iterative prototyping and usability testing with real patients recovering from various conditions, we refined the interface to ensure users of different ages and technical abilities could navigate confidently. We focused particularly on making real-time feedback helpful rather than overwhelming, and on creating progress visualizations that motivate continued engagement.
The result is a comprehensive physiotherapy companion that transforms home exercise from a source of uncertainty into a confident, guided experience. Key outcomes include enhanced patient adherence to prescribed routines, improved exercise performance quality through instant corrective feedback, and faster recovery times. Physiotherapists can now remotely assess patient progress through automated reports, improving care effectiveness while expanding their capacity to serve more patients.

Eclinic - Doctor Patient Management (UX/UI Design)
Eclinic is a comprehensive telemedicine platform designed to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers through seamless digital healthcare management. In an increasingly digital healthcare landscape, both patients and medical professionals struggle with fragmented systems, confusing interfaces, and disconnected services that complicate appointment booking, consultations, and medical record access.
We partnered with Eclinic to design a unified, user-friendly mobile and web application that addresses these critical pain points. Our solution creates two distinct yet interconnected experiences: one for patients seeking convenient healthcare access, and another for doctors managing their practice efficiently.
For patients, we designed intuitive appointment booking flows, secure access to medical records, real-time consultation capabilities through messaging and video calls, and automated reminders to reduce missed appointments. For healthcare providers, we created comprehensive dashboards for appointment management, patient record access, communication tools, and performance tracking.
Our design process began with extensive user research, including interviews with both patients and healthcare professionals to understand their unique workflows, frustrations, and needs. We developed detailed user personas and journey maps that informed our information architecture and interaction design decisions.
The result is a clean, accessible platform that balances medical professionalism with user-friendly design. Through iterative prototyping and usability testing, we refined every interaction to ensure both user groups could navigate the platform effortlessly while maintaining the trust and credibility essential in healthcare technology.
