Transforming a Commercial Bank’s Property Appraisal Process
One of the largest banks in the Midwest sought growth through acquisition of attractively-priced loan portfolios from the FDIC, as well as through expanded commercial lending secured by real estate. However, the bank’s limited capacity to efficiently value new properties effectively capped the bank’s ability to grow.
Following a rapid, fact-based assessment of process details, and analysis of more than 3,500 commercial appraisals and environmental reviews, EKI diagnosed key issues and opportunities and presented the client with a data-driven resolution strategy, future state process redesign, and a rapid application development proposal that was accepted and executed.
Cataloging a State Government’s Digital Transformation Opportunities
One of the largest state governments in the country sought to initiate a digital transformation across its nearly $1Bn in technology spend. Convinced that opportunities were plentiful, and needing to engage multiple agencies in the process, the effort began with the design and construction of a structured, transparent approach to identifying opportunities and cataloging them for review and decision-making in a Digital Transformation Management Portal (DTMP). The DTMP is an environment that brings together all the information needed to manage the lifecycle of activities involved in the digital opportunity identification to realization process, from understanding the opportunity, developing a strategy, designing the solution, to execution, and building on value through acceleration.
