Pink Avenue Beauty: Business App Development by Idea Maker
Cross-Platform Function
It was essential that this app work for Android and iOS users with equal speed and quality. Idea Maker dove into the project with the right designers on the team for optimizing the design for cross-platform use. Idea Maker used React Native for cross-platform capabilities.
Stylist Dashboard
From the back-office side of the app, stylists, salon owners, and technicians can log in, update schedule availability, remind clients of upcoming appointments through text and push notifications, and contact clients about services. Further, they are listed on the integration Google map API so they can be found, even if the client has never been to their salon. Because of the integration with Google, clients can see reviews and visit the salon website for more information before booking.
Client Dashboard
The ability to find and book appointments without calling a salon makes this app appealing to many people. In our busy lives, we don’t always want to drop everything and peruse the millions of salons and beauty studios that may or may not have available appointments and be convenient to our location and needs. With the client dashboard, they can search by service, location, or a specific salon. You can book appointments right from the app.
Specials, Deals, and Promotions
With the Google Map integration, and the ability to update your salon profile, clients are able to find deals, sales, specials, and promotions for different locations, services, or specialists. Customers can browse the app to find the best deals for their needs and book an appointment. From the salon side, this app provides a platform for beauty techs to offer Groupon-style marketing deals to promote their businesses.
Payments and Subscriptions
To help the users of the Pink Avenue Beauty custom app easily make payments, Idea Maker used Stripe to handle credit card payments. Using Stripe also helps share revenue with the creator. For subscription management, we choose to use both Stripe and Apple Pay.
Google Maps Integration
For an Uber-like app to work well it would need to integrate with Google Maps. Idea Maker used the Google Maps API so that customer users could easily browse the map to locate a salon near them. Google Maps information would also be used to improve the user experience for increased app success.
UGIG: Custom SAAS Development by Idea Maker
Separate Dashboards
Both the volunteers and the researchers needed their own distinct dashboards. The researchers are able to pay for the service and set up the pre-screen questions for their research surveys and administer the survey without close contact with the volunteer. Further, the volunteer can fill out their profile from their own dashboard and get a flag for any survey they may qualify for after pre-screening.
Focus on User Experience
Creating a beautiful and functional database program meant creating a platform that was easy to use and lacked the intimidation of many similar programs. The final product created by IdeaMaker for UGIG combines the simplicity of a beautiful and functional website with the back-office data collection options for the researchers to use. The final iteration of the project looked and functioned more like an interactive website than a sterile questionnaire database. The experience of both volunteers and researchers is the driving force behind the success of this project design.
Integrated Survey System
Instead of using UGIG as a filtering system, which is how many similar websites operate, researchers could administer the surveys through database programming, reducing the steps to gather and analyze the data collected. Further, by taking at least part of the human element out of the interview process, there is less chance for skewing the data through bias or external judgment.
The surveys collected for each research project are given the same way to every participant, and the data is entered into the system without human interference. When data is pure and unaltered by external experiences, you can rest assured the information is more accurate than that collected in a person-to-person interview.
TruAcademy: Online Course Platform Development by Idea Maker
Customized Homepages
Because each instructor has their preferences and branding, TuAcademy wanted to customize the homepage the students would see when they participated in classes. IdeaMaker made this option viable and increased the function of the TruAcadmy platform.
Multiple Simultaneous Schools
Offering the programs as a SaaS gave TruAcademy the option to host multiple “schools” and organizations for courses. Many teachers can run their classes simultaneously through this program, stream videos, live lectures, and many other education options to ensure the highest level of education.
Multiple User Roles
By offering the option for many teachers and even more students to use the SaaS simultaneously, Tru Academy can run many different programs and offer the best options for the client’s customers. Each instructor can set up their class to host as many students as they are comfortable with and manage their curriculum and participation.
Payment Processing
In the initial consult, a topic of conversation was able to set up an effective billing and revenue tracking system within the program. By incorporating this feature into the program, we were able to simplify both payments for students and instructors and accounting for TruAcademy.

Custom WordPress Dashboards for Multiple User Roles
Idea Maker coded a custom back office dashboard and a customer-side dashboard for multiple functions. Using WordPress as the base gives the website more flexibility to be adjusted for growth in the future.
Back Office for Specialists
In the back office dashboard created for the finance specialists, users can view custom plan requests, upload client plans confidentially, and view and print reports.
Customer Portal
The customer portal allows consultation meetings, plan requests, and plan printing options from within the dashboard.
Payment Processing
Using WooCommerce and Stripe, the payment processing features of this website build is secure and backed. WooCommerce is a WordPress widget with high reviews and was the best fit for our client’s needs. Stripe allowed the payments to be processed and securely sent between the site and the accounting team for the business.
Lincoln: Robotic Process Automation Software by Idea Maker
Data Security
Lincoln deals with huge quantities of highly classified and high-security data. Securing that data against tampering and leaks is a significant concern of the client and their industry. Idea Maker took this concern seriously as well and worked hard to build in security features that similar programs lack. Failure to secure the information properly can have serious repercussions for the company and its clients.
Data Mapping Accuracy
The way the new system was coded, the information could be received in non-standard templates, and still be assessed and imported to a master database accurately to increase the usability of data mapping. Lincoln needed the ability to integrate many different data streams into combined files for mapping.
The accuracy of this data is essential to those that pay Lincoln for their services, so it was crucial that Idea Maker follow through with the highest quality product possible. Data processed in this way can be used for scientific studies, financial analysis, health and safety procedures, and more. The value of robotic process automation in this stage of the analysis is incredibly valuable to the client and their patrons.
Database Viewer with Filter
With the needs of Lincoln clearly laid out, Idea Maker created a database viewer with a customized filter system to help users better find and read the data. This database viewer is similar to Power BI and other data filter systems but is fully customized to the Lincoln team’s needs.
One of the purposes of processing data for analysis is to make the information easier to read, and the patterns easier to see. This goal is achieved and surpassed by the robotic process automation system that Lincoln contracted Idea Maker to create. Advance CPE: SaaS eLearning Platform Developed by Idea Maker
Payment Processing
Advance CPE needed to be able to easily and quickly accept payments from their students. To facilitate this request Idea Maker enabled payment processing for the e-learning platform using Stripe.
Video Processing
A feature that was important to Advance CPE and their eLearning platform was video hosting. Idea Maker enabled them with the ability to host and stream videos by using JWPlayer.
Attendance Checks
As part of their e-learning platform’s unique features, they needed to be able to verify student attendance. Idea Maker helped them do this by creating a customized video player that could capture students for both the purposes of attendance and question answering. This helped to prevent tampering and satisfy governing body requirements.
Instructor Portal
To help instructors at Advance CPE maintain their personal brand, Idea Maker created an instructor portal on the eLearning platform. The instructor portal has customizable fonts, colors, logos, and background images.
Student Management
To help Advance CPE better manage its students on their eLearning platform, Idea Maker created student portals. We also created a management system to suit their needs that included the automatic circulation of certificates at the satisfactory completion of classes.
ExcelX by Idea Maker
Superadmin
This project had a strong focus on permission and access levels. As such, we developed a superadmin feature that allows company executives to modify, view, and manage reports. They are also able to assign access levels to other employees and view reports as other users, giving them complete control over projects.
Reports View
We developed a reports view function based on PowerBI integration, allowing users to effectively visualize data while using the platform. Reports view features several useful functionalities to streamline business operations, such as data export, full-screen mode, and tab management.
Email Automation
The email automation function allows users to select reports and schedule automatic emails that contain either PDFs or magic links to the platform. This enables internal communication and external data viewing to be efficient.

Powerful Search Filter
We integrated a robust search filter that enables users to refine their searches based on requirements. This includes defining the number of rooms, minimum hours of use, and patient capacity. As a result, practitioners can find office spaces with operational equipment that meet their needs and business size.
User Published Offices
We developed an administration portal that enables users to create and manage office space listings. This includes uploading property images, contact information, minimum required hours of use, disabled accessibility, and rental rate. As a SaaS application, the platform is based on a tiered pricing model, allowing users to add multiple listings at an increased monthly fee.
Intuitive UI
Doctors are busy individuals, with this in mind, Idea Maker ensured the Matchmaker 4 Business platform has an intuitive UI. We integrated several essential features, such as the ability to save their favorite properties, flag problematic spaces, and save searches. Search save is a unique feature that lets users save their queries for later inquiry.
Future Expansion
After these features were developed, our client decided that they would like to expand the platform beyond dental, medical, and surgical practitioners. Idea Maker is now implementing broader functionality to enable other businesses, such as salons, to rent spaces and recruit contractors. Once the platform is fully developed, it will act as a property listing and job board hybrid.

Map Integration
Knowing where properties are is just as important as knowing their availability. As a result, we integrated an intelligent maps API that allows estate agents to denote property addresses accurately.
Live Route Planning
In order to help users find their properties and events, not only did we integrate the platform with maps, but we also added live route planning. To do this, we created an algorithm that integrated with our maps features, enabling the platform to generate logical routes based on event locations and times
Search Save
Sometimes it can be difficult to settle on a property, so we implemented a search save feature that enables users to document their previous location searches. Subsequently, when they return to the site, they can pick up where they left off.
