How we helped MedSimples revolutionise healthcare institution managment
Client Overview
MedSimples promotes technological and innovative solutions to make the financial management of healthcare institutions uncomplicated. Its mission is to organize and simplify daily routines of clinics and hospitals. The system we have created had two recipients: Doctors and Office workers. The App helps them to manage their workloads, so it had to have a user-friendly design.
Our Task
We were tasked with creating a double-ended system that would help to cover many of the daily tasks of healthcare workers. The main features of the office side of the app are for hospital schedules and payments management. The Mobile app for the doctors allows them to advance their payments and apply to open shifts whenever they want.
The Challenges
The biggest challenge was to create a low-maintenance, fully flexible and reliable innovation ecosystem that would manage records with data integrity, contracts with legal compliance and make all of the transactions immediate, secure and audited.
Process
How we helped MedSimples revolutionize healthcare institution management.
Analysed - We analysed their business needs and user context, to plan releases starting from core functionalities to addons.
Designed - We designed the solution and discussed it with the client, taking into consideration the simplest direction for
Developed - We coded the solution, and gave weekly updates to the client with a test environment for them to check
Tested - We tested the code and design, prior to release all crucial issues had to be fixed
Released - Testing of the application continued after its release whilst we developed the next update as planned
Solution
We created a model on-call manager.
The outcome was a complete and flexible system that allows the registration of any team size. The platform was a huge asset to many hospitals and clinics, by simplifying daily routines, it reduces time spent on administrative tasks by up to 50%.

TravelShield member portal
Project Overview
Member Portal is a platform supporting travelers in purchasing TravelShield membership and helping them access services such as security or medical evacuation during their travels.

The Bay Club
The Bay Club is an American company that owns an exclusive network of relaxation and sports entertainment centers in California and Oregon. As part of the entry fee and monthly subscription, Bay Club members have access to a wide range of activities, tennis courts, golf, swimming pools, individual training with coaches, care and day camps for children and much more.
Main problems
In 2018, The Bay Club relied on a 25-year-old inflexible and outdated system that failed to keep up with the growing needs of the business. Existing applications lacked support for new needs and many basic functions were missing (such as card payment, childcare booking, activity management, back-office support, member data collected by external providers, etc.). Bay Club often had to rely on external partners, which generated costs and was unstable as a long-term solution.
Challenge
The main challenge was to create a solution thanks to which The Bay Club will work better and faster, and users will have easy access to the full offer of the club.
Our first priority was to create an entire application ecosystem, consisting of fully integrated modules, cloud-based, mobile-friendly, scalable, low-maintenance and with the ability to manage permissions for leading users.
Solution
When designing the native iOS app, we focused on flexibility and to make our ecosystem user-friendly and communicate with underlying legacy systems to be able to stream live data with 24/7 availability. Most of The Bay Club members are iOS users, so we decided to create a responsive web version for the Android app. As part of the cooperation, we have created:
- Applications for trainers and instructors, so that they can easily register their classes and propose new dates, allow you to manage the professional profile, view the schedule of availability of classes and arrange substitutions between trainers.
- Back-office application - for office and finance management, was created on the corporate architecture pattern using the old system. The functionalities that the office received include managing employees, their working hours and activities, managing and logging camps and childcare.
- Connect - a web and mobile application for members of The Bay Club, it is an extensive system for registration, managing your own profile, payment for membership, booking a stay, activities and childcare, distance learning and contains history of visits.
- Backend/legacy - we have created: Club Management System, Financial System (GL) and CRM.
