The Challenges
High-end products in the F&B industry are prime targets for counterfeiting. The client faced critical challenges: how to secure their products against counterfeiting, provide consumers with an easy way to verify authenticity, and maintain their premium brand image in a competitive market.
The Solutions
Ekoteks solution leveraged 2 key technologies: NFC and blockchain, each playing a distinct yet complementary role in addressing the clients challenges.
- NFC technology: NFC tags were embedded into the packaging of premium spirits. These tags act as unique identifiers that consumers can scan with their smartphones to access detailed product information. The NFC tags ensure a seamless and interactive method for verifying authenticity, providing users with immediate assurance about the products legitimacy.
- Blockchain technology: Blockchain served as the backbone for secure and immutable product data storage. Every products lifecycle, from production to sale, is recorded on the blockchain, ensuring transparency and preventing tampering. By connecting NFC scans to the blockchain ledger, consumers can trace the products provenance with confidence.
To operationalize these technologies, Ekotek implemented the following project scope:
- Integration of NFC tags with blockchain: Custom NFC tags were embedded into the product packaging, linking each tag to a blockchain record. Authentication results are displayed instantly on consumers smartphones, enabling easy verification. Consumers can also view additional details about the product, such as its origin and description.

Streamlining Footwear Production With AI-Powered BOM Automation
The Challenges
The production of a pair of shoes involves numerous steps and teams. A key part of this process is creating the Bill of Materials (BOM), which requires input from multiple departments based on supplied design specifications.
The Solutions
Ekotek developed a tailored AI agent to support the clients production workflow and automate the BOM creation process. This AI agent integrates Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies to meet the specific needs of the client.
- Computer vision: Analyze and understand visual inputs such as technical shoe drawings and material images. It detects components, performs image segmentation to separate different shoe parts, and classifies materials based on visual cues. This allows for automatic recognition of parts such as uppers and soles, critical in understanding which materials are required.
- NLP: Read and comprehend unstructured text data from various documents (supplier catalogs, material specifications, and historical BOMs). It continuously learns from new data, enabling it to make contextual decisions based on prior patterns and documentation.
By combining these technologies, the AI agent can autonomously parse documents and images, extract relevant information, and suggest or even generate BOM files without human intervention.

Telegram mini apps
The Challenges
The client already had a mobile game and a long-term vision to develop a five-zone ecosystem, encompassing Farming, Mining, Seeding, Battle, and Bomber zones. To realize this vision, they sought a Telegram mini app to support their Mining zone and expand their game ecosystem to the Telegram platform. With extensive experience in Web3 game development, Ekotek was well-equipped to deliver the solution on time and fully integrated into the clients existing ecosystem.
The Solutions
Ekotek thoroughly analyzed the clients needs and current technical problems of this game, and brainstormed to deliver a comprehensive solution, including

AI Chatbot integrated ChatGPT
The Challenges
Users often encountered difficulties in searching for answers on the NFTify website due to various topics and FAQs, leading to time-consuming and distracting experiences.
Additionally, human staff were unable to provide 24/7 support, resulting in delayed responses to customer queries. To overcome these challenges, NFTify sought a smart chatbot solution capable of delivering real-time support.
The Solutions
Ekotek developed the AI chatbot by leveraging the power of OpenAI and utilizing NFTifys existing data, including user guides, legal documents and FAQs. The chatbot was designed to crawl data from NFTifys sitemaps and learn from internal documents uploaded by the admin, enabling it to provide accurate and relevant responses to customer inquiries.
We also refined the chatbots natural language processing capabilities, fine-tuning it to understand user intent and provide precise answers. After rigorous testing, the AI chatbot was seamlessly integrated into NFTifys website.

There are many blockchain explorers, and each one serves a different blockchain. For the blockchain explorer of the client, they need to build a seamless one that makes it easier for users to access information on the blockchain and inspect transaction and block details.
The Solutions
Ekotek offered a comprehensive range of solutions to address the challenges faced in developing the clients request. We provided UI/UX design services, ensuring a user-friendly interface for smooth exploration of blockchain data. Ekotek also handled both front-end and back-end development.
The project operated in an Agile development, with Ekotek actively supporting the client in defining requirements, developing the product, and overseeing the testing and deployment stages. NFT Marketplace for a Web3 Game
The challenge
After the successful launch of their token vesting portal, the client team entrusted Ekotek with another critical project in their ecosystem: an exclusive NFT marketplace for their player community.
The Solutions
For the web3 game creators to list the NFT collection up for sale, and for game players to purchase with their in-game tokens, we integrated two similar crypto wallets from the game: MetaMask and Wallet Connect then configured AOG as the exclusive payment method.
As each NFT possesses its own attributes such as Mythology, Level, and Class, the team decided to go with a simple but effective filter so that users can quickly sort through items on the homepage or NFT storage to find what they need. Users can then click on an NFT to explore more information including description, attributes, chain information, current listing, and recent activities, then make the purchase.
Most importantly, every page has a switch button for users to view listings on the whole marketplace or just their own, which we believed is a huge convenience in the user experience.
The Results
Since the official release in April 2022, the games NFT marketplace has powered more than 10,000 transactions, raking in a total volume of 4M AOG tokens (equivalent to $560,000) within 6 months.

The Seminar Management System
The Challenges
The client contacted Ekotek to envision their goal: migrating the entire seminar system onto Line. Admins should be able to create, schedule and publish seminars with full details, while users can receive notifications and reminders, sign up for their preferred seminars and watch them live.
Aside from the main features, the team also expressed their intention of enhancing the in-app experience and gaining insights on seminar performance as well as user usage. Time is also a matter we need to take into consideration, as the integration is expected to launch within 3 months.
The Solutions
This challenge was tackled by our full-cycle web development team from proposal, and design to production. Communication was kept close to the client with weekly reports and bi-monthly demos.
For admins to freely set up seminars and seamlessly manage users, we incorporated the following features:
- Admin and user management with details, permissions, status and action
- Seminar settings with detailed information, registration duration and custom messages
- Customizable homepage with header, footer and rich menu
- Chat function for mass audience and individuals
The system was built with open API to connect with third-party applications such as chatbots and landing pages. We also employed conversion tracking for when users register and complete seminars, plus a tagging system for admins to easily flag and manage user segments.
The Results
Within the expected timeline of 3 months, the seminar system was completely developed and integrated into the Line app, making seminar access and communication much more optimized. Every time a user logs into Line, they can check for upcoming events in an instant, then sign up and join in with just a few clicks. Meanwhile, admins have the freedom to customize the interface however they want, the ability to reach out to the whole audience, and the insights that truly matter in the long run.
Beauty AI Application
The Challenges
The client asked for an AI development project with a face reading application, selection and user-friendly interface. The platform tracked the facial details of users, processing, then returned results and recommended skincare products to users.
The Solutions
Artificial Intelligence specialists with 10 years of expertise were called in for the project. Ekotek combined AI with mobile app development technologies to build the beauty AI app for both web and mobile versions.
The project included the AI application in facial recognition and analysis with live (direct phones camera) and static (picture) inputs. The results then got transformed into voiceover for the beauty-counter experience.
Users would also receive a detailed report with a visualized graph and point-rating system showing their current skin condition. They then can search and get product recommendations from their skin data on the app.
The Results
With 10,000 downloads upon release, the beauty app is gaining traction as a dedicated solution for self-checking and improving skin problems. The skin evaluation app becomes available for App Store and Google Play after 5 months of development.

The Project
Knowing that the online streaming industry is in the prime of its life, the client wants to build a next-gen live streaming platform for the Japanese market, assist businesses in digitalizing their operation system, and broadcast content on the streaming service.
With its reputation and proven success in mobile app development services, particularly in Japan, Ekotek was selected as a development partner to help the client create a premium experience that is completely different from conventional online streaming applications.
The results
After 4 months of development as planned, we have created the Live streaming mobile application, which is now available on the app stores, with impressive outcomes that meet the clients requirements.
- New mechanism system live-streaming service: Unlike other live-streaming apps, this product uses a per-minute point-consumption live-streaming system.
- Gifting feature: Viewers can send gift items (for a fee) to the creators to get a chance to talk to them.
- Various content supported: There is a wide range of content categories supported including idol, actor, singer, beauty, fashion, gourmet, education, game, sport, even fortune-telling, and many more.
- Two-way conversation space: The direct two-way conversation with celebrities, singers, etc., allows viewers to get exclusive information in a space only for the content creators and fans.
- The number of views is hidden: Viewers cannot see the number of views on the live stream. We wanted to make it such a simple content delivery service, that if you are a fan of the creator, you can enter the room, otherwise, you cannot.
Transforming the KYC process for a property investment platform
The Challenges
In real estate, especially the high-end segment, KYC is a crucial process to verify sellers, buyers, and the financials involved. The client initially employed the traditional method that requires applicants to send their forms and documents via post. Even though it guarantees security, it poses a tedious and time-consuming task for all parties involved.
To modernize the KYC process while upholding the security standards, the client team decided to develop their own electronic KYC (eKYC) and asked for assistance from Ekotek.
The Solutions
A compact team of 5 Ekotek specialists was entrusted with the project. To make sure every document type and approval requirement is accounted for, our Business Analyst worked closely with the client team to sample and categorize applications. Afterwards came UX/UI design and website system development, with Glocaly kept updated weekly on the progress.
We defined the prominent features of the eKYC including:
- User signup can be done via verified email or international phone number
- Multiple-step application with auto-checking and formatting
- Document upload via file selection or device camera
- Users can request to edit their information and access the edit history
- User information is stored in an on-premise database, which the client team can swiftly integrate with existing data for easier management. The development team also ensured that the identification process complies with country-specific security regulations.

The client wants to develop a multi-chain wallet that can access decentralized applications across multiple networks. The wallet must have high security and scalability, satisfying all class-leading criteria of the blockchain wallet.

The Solutions
After organizing workshops to identify concretely our clients requests and their vision for the product, Ekotek decided to develop a multichain wallet that complies with the rigorous CCSS standard (the cryptocurrency security standard).
We satisfy our clients multi-chain vision with the two most popular blockchain networks Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the client's private chain. The wallet can hold Bitcoin (BTC), Ether(ETH), ValueCoin (FVC), and Genesis (GOD), making it easier for users to manage and transfer multiple cryptocurrencies.
Users can send out public wallet addresses with a QR code created on-site and make transactions by scanning them, rendering crypto transactions quick, easy, and secure. By supporting English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean languages, the wallet is highly user-friendly for the strategic user base that our client is targeting.
The Results
The Android and iOS versions of the wallet are launched subsequently and are steadily gaining traction within the crypto-user community from both platforms.

Renovating The Booking Industry With Blockchain Technology
The Challenges
Noticing the benefits of blockchain adaptation for their business, our clients approached and trusted us with their vision for improving their operations. The request contained critical requirements to ensure a travel booking platform that is transparent, secure, and user-friendly, with crypto payment and reward points allowed.
The Solutions

The Results
The product we developed has become the leading booking site with blockchain applications. A new payment method and loyalty program using tokens are built into this travel booking site. In addition, Ekotek ran this travel booking sites ICO in the NEO platform and developed its wallet.
